Getting ready Wedding photos at Buxted Park Hotel

Buxted Park Hotel wedding venue has several gorgeous locations to get ready. 

Many of my brides get ready in the Churchill suite, which is by far my favourite. The light filters in so beautifully from this side of the house and always makes for incredible wedding photographs. I’ve had brides literally glow in their veils – and the beautiful organza or tulle of their dress just lights up in the most incredible ways! And when Grooms get ready in one of the other suites, such as the George V suite, it becomes incredibly easy for me to document coverage of both mornings if my couples do not opt for a second photographer. 

But the bridal suite and snooker room are great alternatives if availability is limited. Some of my couples have also started in these locations, and then moved to the larger suites. Or just opted to stay in these rooms for ease. I’ve even had a groom put on his finishing touches in the conservatory and the photos looked brilliant.

Buxted Park Hotel Wedding Ceremony Photos

With Buxted Park Hotel, couples have so many beautiful choices for their ceremony. 

For outdoor ceremony locations, the most popular is the Coat of Arms lawns. Couples can either have their ceremony facing towards the house and stand on the gorgeous steps or face towards nature. But couples can also get married by the pond or I’m pretty sure anywhere that takes their fancy if doing exclusive hire. Rules and regulations around ceremony locations have lifted since 2020, and this has opened up your choices. 

As for Indoor ceremony locations, the most common locations are the Coat of Arms or the conservatory. Both are beautiful and perfect for a rainy day alternative.

Wedding Breakfast  photos

While I’m itching for an open air or marquee wedding on the lawns,  most of my couples celebrate the rest of their night away in the Ballroom. This is a beautiful space that is easily transformed with a few simple window drapes and personal touches. For the wedding breakfast, the photographs are always stunning.

But the conservatory is also a firm favourite for the wedding breakfast with a smaller guest count. With a few floral details on the beams above and the gorgeous light that filters through, the wedding photographs are truly stunning.

 And as for the reception, the ballroom is always a brilliant space with bar nearby.
