As an Uckfield Wedding Photographer at Buxted Hotel, I’m a little bit of a fairy godmother. The kind that swoops in and quells panicked couples – reassuring them that everything always works out for the better. And that was definitely the case for Lily and Ryan.
After having to postpone due to covid, they were initially gutted when their original photographer cancelled on them. But on a whim they reached out to see if I was available as they’d seen my photography featured on Buxted Park Hotel. And they were mildly obsessed with my work to put it lightly! They didn’t have high hopes, but I was so delighted I had it available and squeezed them into the diary.
Lily and Ryan’s Wedding Day at Buxted Hotel
“The love he has for me is like nothing I’ve ever known” – Lily
These two well and truly adore each other and the life they have created together. With the laziest doggie and a baby on the way, I predict their life is bound to be one big snuggle fest for a very long time.
Ryan will do anything for Lily, and she him. And I adore them for loving so authentically. Ryan hated the idea of having photographs taken, but Lily and I convinced him to do an engagement shoot. It was so much fun and put him right at ease on the day so that I could be super efficient and squeeze in some photographs with his boys before the ceremony (if there is one reason to do an engagement shoot, it’s spending less time on the wedding day creating photographs).
Lily was a bit nervous about everything as she’d just found out she was pregnant – and wasn’t sure how she’d fit in her dress at 6 months pregnant. But my goodness, the seamstress at Fross Bridal is a magician. This is one of the bridal boutiques I recommend, so I reassured her they would work wonders. And that they did!
Lily didn’t want to hide she was pregnant, but also didn’t want her bump to take centre stage. Her dress provided her just that and she looked truly amazing.
Uckfield Wedding Photographer at Buxted Hotel
As an Uckfield wedding photographer, I love the way the light is always changing at Buxted Park Hotel. I seem to find something new and beautiful every single time I photograph at this venue. But more than anything, it’s the people. I always tell my clients that above all, I’m a people photographer. The kind of photographer that helps create a fun and relaxed experience – and puts everyone at ease. I invest my energy into seeking out connections and helping my clients create memories. Ensuring time is carved out appropriately to let authentic moments rule the day.

Till next time,
