If you’re looking for songs to walk down the aisle or some tones to entertain your guests while you sign the registry or exist, I’ve got you covered!
The two most traditional songs for the grand entrance are Bridal Chorus by Wagner (Here Comes the Bride) and Canon in D. If you want to keep that traditional feel but be a bit different, you can go with an instrumental version of the song. There are loads of instrumental examples in the playlist below.
As for mood, do what fits you two as a couple and the kinds of emotions you want to invoke. If neither of you want to cry, go with an uplifting and fun song. If you want your partner to weep like a babe, go for sentimental and emotion provoking. Songs with vocals usually get the biggest reactions.
But no matter what, I recommend timing your entrance. Family and friends like to chat with you both right up to the grand entrance. Having music play for a bit gives you both that chance to recenter. To truly soak in the moment.
Any of the songs in the playlist below would also work for signing the registry and recessional, but with these you can have a bit more fun and get creative (For those ready to party, you can do something like Let’s Get it Started).
