In this beautiful country house wedding venue in East Sussex, Sacha and Dave’s day was filled with laughter and so, so much dancing!
Doing her grandad proud I’m sure as the Dancing Queen of the night. This is a song he loved and Sacha's family serenaded to her Nan. His presence was there in so many details. From his handkerchief Sacha’s niece carries with her everywhere, to the charms on her bouquet and the magpie on her Matron of Honours bouquet.
Family is well and truly what you make it. Past, present and future. They are always a part of us. And on Sacha and Dave’s wedding day, these two became a family in every sense of the world. And here’s to their future!
Exclusive-use Country House Wedding Venue in East Sussex
Sacha and Dave booked exclusive-use of Buxted Park Hotel. This meant they had the Orangery, Ballroom, hotel rooms, and grounds at their full disposal.
The Orangery is one of my favourite spaces at Buxted Park Hotel. I loved that the couple opted to host their wedding breakfast in this room.
Getting Ready at Buxted Park Hotel
The morning of Sacha and Dave’s wedding began with excitement as preparations began at Buxted Park Hotel. And while Sacha and her bridal party were busy in the bridal suite Dave and his groomsmen were in the snooker room.
The venue’s elegance and peaceful surroundings set the perfect tone for the day ahead. This allowed both the bride and groom to relax before walking down the aisle.

Ceremony in Coat of Arms at Buxted Park
Originally Sacha and Dave had planned for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. However, British weather decided to show its unpredictable side, and the rain began to fall. Without missing a beat, the venue staff quickly moved everything indoors. The Coat of Arms room at Buxted Park Hotel makes for a perfect Plan B when it rains. The transition felt seamless as the grandeur of the venue perfectly complemented the couple’s intimate ceremony.

Wedding Breakfast in Orangery at Country House Venue
Following the ceremony and drinks reception, guests made their way to the Orangery for the wedding breakfast. The Orangery at Buxted Park Hotel has a stunning glass wall providing panoramic views of the grounds and countryside. The couple had chosen a relaxed and elegant style for their reception, and every detail—from the table settings to the floral arrangements—was thoughtfully curated to reflect their personalities.
During the wedding breakfast the couple had a secret singer, who after a little stumble, jumped from the floor and into song. Everyone was dancing and had an incredible time.

Buxted Park Hotel Wedding Photographs
As a recommended wedding photographer at Buxted Park Hotel, I’ve had the privilege of shooting at some beautiful venues, but there’s something uniquely magical about this place. The country house's elegant architecture, lush grounds, and classic charm provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. After the wedding breakfast, Sacha and Dave took a moment to step outside, and the light created the most gorgeous setting for some truly special photographs. From portraits in front of the house to candid moments in the garden, we had so much fun!

Reception at Country House Wedding Venue in East Sussex
The couple and their guests danced the night away in Buxted Park Hotel's ballroom. The energy on the dance floor was electric, with Sacha and Dave leading the way. It was clear that everyone was ready to celebrate, and the party carried on until the late hours of the night. From the emotional speeches to the laughs shared on the dance floor, the evening was a true reflection of Sacha and Dave’s love story.
