As a Buxted Park Hotel Wedding Photographer, I LOVE every wedding I’ve photographed at this East Sussex wedding venue. The venue is rich in charm and offers a blend of tradition and elegance. Emma and Chris’ wedding at Buxted Park Hotel was the perfect example of this. From the intimate St. Margaret the Queen church ceremony to the short walk the guests took to the stunning reception at Buxted Park Hotel, their day was full of beautiful moments.
Emma and Chris booked exclusive-use of Buxted Park Hotel wedding venue. This enabled them to utilise every inch of the gorgeous manor.
Getting Ready Photos in Churchill Suite at Buxted Park
Before the ceremony, the day began in the luxurious George V, where Emma and her bridal party were getting ready. This kept the Churchill Suite clean and tidy for bride to do her final details. The Churchill Suite room is every bride’s dream. The room is spacious, light-filled, and adorned with classic touches that create a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Emma radiated calm excitement as her mother helped her into her gown. And I loved capturing those intimate, personal moments: the laughter, the shared glances with her bridesmaids, the anticipation building up before the big day really began.
There’s something so special about those early moments of the day, when everything is still to come. Emma’s relaxed energy set the tone for the entire celebration. Her Sassi Holford dress was absolutely breathtaking, and it was clear from the start that every detail of her wedding had been carefully thought out. From her elegant hairstyle to the delicate floral accents – everything complemented the soft spring theme.
As a Buxted Park Hotel wedding photographer, I always enjoy the opportunity to capture these moments of preparation. The excitement and emotion are often just as beautiful as the ceremony itself, and Emma’s morning was filled with those perfect little touches that made it unforgettable.

Wedding Venue with Church in East Sussex
It was a bright, fresh April morning when Emma and Chris exchanged their vows at St. Margaret the Queen Church, a beautiful and historic church right next to a manor house wedding venue.
As their Uckfield wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing those tender moments when Emma walked down the aisle and they celebrated being married while their witnesses signed the registrar. There was something incredibly moving about the way Chris and members of the bridal party cried when he saw Emma for the first time.

Walking to Buxted Park Hotel Wedding Venue from Church
One of the things I absolutely adored about this wedding was that the guests walked from the church to the wedding venue. It was a beautiful day and everyone was all smiles!

The Drinks Reception at Buxted Park Hotel
Upon arrival at Buxted Park Hotel, Emma and Chris had a quick look at their wedding breakfast in the ballroom before heading out to greet their guests. Emma and Chris were the first couple to enjoy the new carpets in the room, and Emma was so happy the team pulled through!

Wedding Breakfast in the ballroom and reception in The Orangery
Because Emma and Chris had exclusive use of their hotel wedding venue, they made use of every inch! I loved that they opted to dance the night away in The Orangery. And Emma also opted for an outfit change ensuring she could truly dance the night away!

There’s something so special about a wedding where every detail comes together perfectly. Emma and Chris’s wedding was no exception! From their stunning St. Margaret the Queen wedding ceremony to their reception at Buxted Park Hotel, it was a day filled with unforgettable memories.
