These Buxted Park Hotel wedding photos are one to remember – on the 5th of November!
This date has always been special to Emma and Alex, as they had their first date at Lewes Bonfire Night. So when they began their wedding planning, it felt only natural to book their wedding venue for the date they – well, had their date! And of course they had to book Aurora Fireworks to kick off the evening celebrations.
You can see a slideshow of all my favourite highlight photographs from their wedding day just below – or keep scrolling for details of their day a few of my favourite Buxted Park Hotel wedding photographs!
How They Met
Emma and Alex’s journey to this moment began at university, where they first crossed paths. Alex eagerly invited Emma to sit next to him during a group project, and the rest is history! Emma couldn’t help but be captivated by the genuine joy that radiated from Alex’s face whenever she was nearby. She told me about how his face just lights up when he’s happy, and I couldn’t help but notice it really did! He really is someone who smiles with his eyes. Especially when he was in the company of gorgeous bride!
And before either of them knew it, they were on their first date and off to see :ewes Bonfire Night in all its glory.
Getting Ready in Style
Emma and Alex chose the elegant Buxted Park Hotel as the backdrop for their wedding day preparations. Emma opted for complete calmness whilst getting ready. She thus got ready alone and did her own hair and makeup in bridal suite. That meant Alex got ready in the Churchill suit – a first for me as my bride’s almost always claim this room for themselves.
A Coat of Arms Ceremony at Buxted Park Hotel
As their wedding took place in November, Emma and Alex loved the idea of a cozy indoor wedding with the fireplace adorned with a few flowers and their favourite people surrounding them. The ceremony room provided the perfect setting for their vows and the exchange of rings.
