I’ve photographed weddings at Brookfield Barn in spring sunshine, autumn rain and everything in between. I know where the light falls inside the barn, how the pond works for an outdoor ceremony, and how to take you out into the long grass for fifteen quiet minutes at golden hour without missing the party.
Brookfield Barn sits in Mannings Heath, between Lower Beeding and Horsham. The barn opens onto a south-facing terrace, with a pond for outdoor ceremonies, a bar and lounge, a bridal preparation room and rooms on site. South Lodge and Cisswood House are close by for guests staying over.

The places I’ll take you at Brookfield Barn.
The pond
Outdoor ceremonies by the pond, with the barn behind you. If the weather turns, the ceremony moves inside and the big bifold doors stay open to the grounds.
The bridge and the swing
A few minutes on the bridge or the swing between drinks and dinner. Relaxed portraits, no separate photoshoot, and you’re back with your guests before anyone misses you.
The meadow at golden hour
The long grass beyond the barn glows in the evening. I usually take you out for about fifteen minutes, then straight back to the party.

The best way to understand what I do is to see a whole wedding. As a Brookfield Barn wedding photographer, I've seen this barn through transitions in the seasons to change in ownership. But one thing has remained true, it's a great barn wedding venue to get married.

Have you photographed at Brookfield Barn before?

What happens if it rains?
The ceremony can move into the barn, and with the bifold doors open you still get the view across the grounds. I keep an eye on the sky all day so we can nip out for portraits the moment it clears, and clear umbrellas photograph beautifully.
When should we do group photographs?
If you’re having food from the outdoor kitchen, I’d do group photographs straight after the confetti, before the barbecue smoke starts drifting across the lawn. I’ll have learned everyone’s names beforehand, so they’re quick.
Where can we get ready?
Brookfield Barn has a bridal preparation room with lovely soft light. Some couples get ready nearby instead, at places like South Lodge, and I’m happy to start wherever you are.
How much does a Brookfield Barn wedding photographer cost?

Do you photograph other West Sussex venues?
