This Worthing Pier engagement photography session with V+R was so much fun. They are a really easy going, fun loving couple. I can already tell their wedding at Brookfield Barn next year is going to be out of this world.
Worthing Pier was the perfect setting for V+R’s engagement session. With its vintage feel and few crowds, it’s a fun backdrop for those who love to be by the sea. And for V+R it was super convenient as they had a 90th birthday party in Worthing after the engagement session! Talk about a win-win.
We did have to battle some mid-day sun and a few crowds. Nothing a little prep and explaining how we’d have to change up a few things couldn’t fix though! I prefer engagement photography sessions during off-peak times, but these two were up for just about anything which made things so easy! The resulting images look like they were the only two in the place and that R wasn’t completely blinded by the sun. 😉

It is always something really special as a photographer to see the way a couple interacts and the connection they have between one another. V+R are one of those couples that you just know is right. They have been together for years and are so comfortable in each other’s presence. R lights up around V and he has this smile that I felt was just for her.
I really adore these engagement photographs we captured on Worthing Pier and seafront all snuggled up.
Beach House Park Engagement Photography in Worthing
Once Worthing Pier and the sun got a little too intense, we wandered over to Beach House Park across the road in Worthing. This is a lovely little park. The trees at Beach House Park afforded the perfect amount of shade and a bit more privacy than the seafront.
Just look how sweet these two look!
This Worthing Pier engagement session was such a joy to photograph and I loved every minute with these two! It was my first time to Worthing Pier. And I know, that’s pretty shocking because I’m only 20 minutes away!
