From a Brookfield Barn wedding in Horsham to Southend Barns on the outskirts of Chichester, here are the best barn wedding venues in West Sussex.

As you are just beginning your journey into planning your big day, I want to pass along to you my best advice for an incredible day. I used to only share this with my couples, but I’ve opened it up to the public as I really want every couple to have an amazing wedding – so go ahead and give it a read! I’ve also got a great blog post on how to create a wedding day timeline. I’ve been helping couples document this moment, and I’ve learned a thing or two a long the way that will make it truly memorable. I hope both of these blog posts help you create that wedding you’ve been dreaming of.

Top 14 barn wedding venues in West Sussex

West Sussex has some of the best barn wedding venues in the country, and as a sucker for a barn wedding, I’ve rounded up a list of the very best! Here they are in no real particular order.

1. Brookfield Barn in Horsham

Brookfield Barn is one of the best barn wedding venues in West Sussex for those who want a bright and spacious feel. The barn is also located in a gorgeous setting overlooking a pond and a small golf course (which is closed to the public during weddings). The team at Brookfield Barn is also fantastic and really looks after their couples, which can really make all the difference on your day. Here is an inside look at some Brookfield Barn wedding photography.

2. Chapel Barn in Bolney

Chapel Barn has some serious potential. If you want to see what I’m talking about, check out what Not Your Average I Do showcased on their Instagram. How amazing does that look?! The wedding venue also boasts lovely gardens and is licenced for ceremonies.

3. Southend Barns near Chichester

Southend Barns are perhaps the be all and end all of barn weddings. They have alpacas. They also have two beautiful spaces dedicated for ceremonies and the Threshing Barn lets in loads of natural light.

4. Rumbolds Farm near Billinghurst

Rumbolds Farm dates all the way back to the 16th century and has loads of potential for your wedding day. I really love the old feel of this barn and honestly can’t get enough of the property – the pond is really something to see!

5. Farbridge near Chichester

If you haven’t noticed a general trend, Chichester has some of the loveliest barn wedding venues in all the land. Farbridge definitely ranks as one of the most beautiful. Seriously, go check them out and swoon with me. This is one of those venues that I’m completely smitten with.

6. Cissbury Barn near Worthing

Cissbury Barn is nestled in the South Downs. Because the wedding venue is in such a lovely location, you’re pretty much guaranteed great wedding photographs. This barn has gorgeous brickwork and the beams look amazing with simple draping – check out their website to see what I mean!

7. Upwaltham Barns near Chichester

Upwaltham Barns has one of the best views of the South Downs and is a lovely barn wedding venue with beautiful, natural light. Everything about this barn wedding venue is pretty perfect if you ask me!

8. Fitzleroi Barn near Pulborough

Fitzleroi Barn is a fantastic barn wedding venue with a really lovely courtyard and great views. I love the old beams in this barn contrasting against the white walls and the black exterior of the barn.

9. The Secret Barn near Storrington

If my memory is any good, I  think the Secret Barn is near Storrington. True to its name, this not so secret, secret wedding barn venue is a great place to tie the knot. The venue is set within the South Downs and is a perfect choice for those looking for a rural setting.

10. The Warnham Barn in Horsham

Warnham Barn is perfect for smaller weddings of up to 80 seated guests. The barn wedding venue in West Sussex has beautiful grounds and the black exterior of the barn is really lush!
