This St. Peter’s Church christening photography was extra special as the last time I was here, I was photography their wedding. Fast forward 5 years and they now have the happiest baby girl I ever did meet.
In all the excitement, she didn’t manage a single nap, but she was quick to smile for the entire ceremony and loved all the attention.
St. Peter’s Church Christening Photography in Henfield
My favourite thing about christening photography is how much more relaxed the church is about the ceremonies compared to weddings. They are so much more intimate and slightly more chaotic – as the little ones will often move about visiting their favourite people.
Baby O was no exception to that. She was so eager to visit everyone there to celebrate her christening.
St. Peter’s Church in Henfield is a really beautiful and intimate church for a christening in West Sussex. While it was a rainy and cloudy day, I absolutely loved the way the light filtered in through the window on that second image.
Baby O’s Christening Ceremony
When Cass reached out to me to photograph Baby O’c christening ceremony, I was absolutely over the moon. She was a Covid baby, so they had missed out on so many special moments. So they wanted pictures with everyone and everything. I think we had about 20 different family combinations to get through, and somehow Baby O tolerated it!
We weren’t holding out much hope seeing as how she skipped naps – and she was much more interested in practicing her walking skills than being held. But we were able to get all the combinations Cass and Lee wanted – and even got some family photographs for themselves.
