A St. Luke’s Church wedding is guaranteed to be a beautiful one. Located in Guildford, St. Luke’s Church might be one of the prettiest church’s in all the land. So you can bet I almost cried when I was told about their strict photography policy. Thankfully after talking over the details and what was allowed, I was able to utilise all the hymns and readings to capture all the joy and love in that little, beautiful church.
St. Luke’s Church wedding in Guildford, Surrey
I was instantly drawn to A+R. They have this beautiful connection that just set my soul on fire. They’ve been together since secondary school, and they are both so clearly in love and proud of their other half. They are also a very chill couple that happily roll with the punches. You see, I throw out some crazy ‘Simon says’ style prompts in order to capture great candids, and these two were 100% game. The result was a bunch of stunning, natural wedding photographs of the two of them looking wildly in love.
Their day was simple, yet beautiful. After saying their I do’s at St. Lukes Church, we headed to the canals nearby for some photographs and then to a town hall for a very relaxed yet hilarious evening of singing, dancing, and speeches.
This St. Luke’s Church wedding was one for the record books. R+A trusted me completely, and the result was hands down one of my favourite weddings to date. It just proves that you don’t need a big budget to have an epic wedding – just a whole lotta love and bit of creativity.
