This Lewes Registry Office wedding was a huge honour to photograph. Emily and Luke reached out to me before they’d even booked their date with the Registry Office. They saw my work and knew they had to have me document their day!
So when I say it was an honour, I really mean it. It’s not often a wedding date is chosen based off my schedule!
Thank you so so much for everything you have been an absolute dream every step of the way we have honestly had the best experience having you as our photographer and already recommended you to all our friends! We are so happy with all our photos they are absolutely beautiful and we will treasure them. You made us feel so comfortable and at ease in the run up to it and on the day and your edits are just incredible I never knew I could love photos of myself but you just captured the day so perfectly! We couldn’t have have asked for a better photographer! Mum said she got goose bumps looking at the photos as well. We can’t stop raving about how great you were and cannot wait to book you again in the future xx
Emily and Luke
Emily + Luke’s wedding day
Emily and Luke had a backyard wedding for their reception, which was at the house Emily got ready at for the big day.
The Bridal Dream Team did all the hair and makeup – and all the ladies looked incredible! I’ve always been impressed with these two and they did an amazing job.
Once everyone was ready, it was off to the wedding ceremony at Lewes Register Office.
Lewes Registry Office Wedding in Summer
Lewes Registry Office wedding ceremony spaces are some of the best in Sussex. This is honestly my favourite town hall wedding venue as you are spoilt with not only the venue, but also gorgeous gardens and location.
I’ve always loved the architecture of Lewes Registry Office, and when they redecorated, I was over the moon. The louis chairs and beautiful decor is beyond what many fancy wedding venues offer couples.
The Southover Grange gardens are beautiful year round and make for such stunning photography. And then it’s so easy to walk just a few minutes up the road to hit the high street. With the castle less than a 10 minutes walk, you can’t ask for a better location!
Maybe I’m biased in my love of Lewes, but I just think this town is gorgeous. When I first moved from the US, Lewes Castle was the first I’d ever seen – so call me forever smitten.
