This lesbian marriage proposal at Leonardslee Gardens had me panicking the entire time. I was convinced Louise had spotted me early on when Kayleigh waved at me (nerves get the best of anyone sometimes!) But Louise swore up and down she had no idea I was following them through the gardens.
The entire time I was diving behind flower beds and trees. I was convinced Louise was always looking over her shoulder to try and get a look at whatever Kayleigh had waved at. It’s very rare for someone to look over their shoulder as much as she did, but she told me after she was just so in love with these gardens. Instead of trying to spot me, she was trying to take everything in!
Kayleigh and Louise’s Leonardslee Gardens engagement proposal
Kayleigh reached out to me months ahead of a planned trip to Brighton. She knew she wanted to propose during their little city break, but had no idea where.
When we started chatting about things that Louise loves and locations, Leonardslee House and Gardens felt like the perfect match. Louise loves beautiful gardens, and Leonardslee is truly something else!
Horsham Lesbian Marriage Proposal at Leonardslee Gardens
While I hate using keywords for relationships, I know lots of lgbtqia+ couples need to know their love is in safe hands. I wish the Google search results weren’t so high in 2023, but alas, here we are. Where lesbian marriage proposal gets hundreds of search requests every month in the UK. So if I’m going to blog, I’m got to ensure my time is spent wisely reaching my audience. Letting them know they’ve found a safe space.
And a great place that is nice and secluded for couples to feel safe is Leonardslee Gardens in Horsham. I typically recommend first thing in the morning, or having couples arrive right before entry closes. The gardens don’t force people to leave, but everyone filters out around 2:30 when the cafes and entry office close – meaning you have the whole place pretty much to yourselves!
Leonardslee Gardens doesn’t normally allow professional photography, but I’m thankfully for my couples, I have forged a partnership with them and have permission to document proposals here!
These gardens are one of the best places to propose year round as it is always beautiful. Check out this autumn proposal and this winter engagement proposal to see what I mean!
Till next time,
