This Lancing College Chapel wedding made my heart happy. In so many unexpected ways. I've driven by this chapel on the hill so many times and have always dreamed of photographing a wedding inside.
But my heart was not prepared to weep so much during B+T's ceremony. The way T recited every word back to his soon-to-be wife was filled with so much love. Or maybe I should say devotion? Either way, it gave me chills. Literal goosebumps. He wanted B to hear every word and for her to truly understand the depths of his love. And honestly, everyone there heard him loud and clear.
Lancing College Chapel Wedding
As a Sussex Wedding Photographer, it's a bold statement for me to say I'd die happy if I could photograph a Lancing College Chapel every day for the rest of my life. The hype I felt going into this wedding was not disappointed.
Every inch of this church is just stunning and I especially love all the chandeliers when up in the gallery. You'll just have to scroll to see what I mean!
And I'm so happy when an industry friend asked if I could help her last minute with a wedding, I said yes.
Grittenham Barn with West Sussex Wedding Photographer
This was my first time at Grittenham Barn, and I was so happy to be greeted by the friendliest donkeys on arrival.
B+T arrived shortly after in a classic convertible, driven by a member of their band. Yep, B+T are in a band! A brass band at that! And the whole band was there to perform for their wedding, which was such a fun surprise for guests. T's family is all involved, with his mum a conductor - so the couple and family members all joined in for a few songs too.
While it was insanely windy and cold - and rained buckets of rain - on B+T's wedding day, the sun did sneak out a few times. And when it did, it created the most stunning light for a few portraits of B+T.
