This Kipling Gardens proposal in Rottingdean was the perfect way to start the day. With an early morning start, Tom led Paige into the gardens and surprised her with a beautiful proposal. She was in complete shock!
As a marriage proposal photographer, it’s always so much fun to document emotions unfold and the way everyone always admire the new piece of jewellery adorning their hand.
Tom and Paige’s Kipling Gardens Proposal
Tom and Paige have known each other for many years – having met in school. They started dating in sixth form and have been inseparable ever since.
Tom told me that walks around parks and beaches were among their top favourite things to do, so Rottingdean was top of mind for a proposal location. When I showed him a previous engagement session at Kipling Gardens, he was convinced this was the perfect place for them.
Rottingdean is a gorgeous little seaside town just east of Brighton. It’s probably about a 15 minute drive from the city centre.
The gardens are pretty all year round, but are nothing short of magic come spring. And it’s never too busy here, which also makes it a really lovely place to have a picnic or just sit and relax.
It’s also a great proposal location for book lovers and those who are huge fans of Rudyard Kipling.

Till next time,
