This Greentrees Estate wedding was all that and a disco ball – and I mean that literally!
Greg and Wes were treated to an incredible day, which was planned to perfection by Hire Societies. Hire Societies is a wedding florist turned planner, who is seriously amazing at planning weddings.
Greentrees Estate wedding venue is brand new in 2021. And as of writing, the venue is still being completed. While we did have a real couple, don’t be fooled by the photographs of two people looking madly in love as they get “married”. This was actually a styled shoot for the new venue – the couple and their love is very real though!
Being one of the first Greentrees Estate wedding photographers was a huge honour. The wedding photography that can be created at this venue is truly something else!
Greentrees Estate wedding photos of outdoor ceremony
The team put together a lovely outdoor ceremony under a big beautiful tree overlooking the pond and Sussex countryside. There was a really beautiful chandelier and draping to complete the look.
For the celebrant-led humanist ceremony, Perfect Words Ceremonies did a unique alternative to the unity sand ceremony. But instead of sand, the couple combined cocktail ingredients to make a Mojito!
If you want the details, here’s how the did it in Nicki’s words from the ceremony:
“Greg and Wes have chosen to include a cocktail unity ceremony today. The blending of the ingredients represents their union, not only of them but also you, their families and friends. Being the amazing team they are, they will now work together to build a classic Mojito, a drink that has stood the tests of time, as will Greg and Wes’s love for each other in the years to come.”
“So Greg and Wes, your Mojito represents the support from your friends and family, the strength you have together to overcome life’s rough moments and the joy and happiness you will find in the smooth, sweet moments in your lives and also the sparkle of excitement you have between you which will ensure your marriage will be full of fun and joy.”
