Findon Place wedding venue is the perfect place for a bank holiday weekend wedding. As a recommended wedding photographer at Findon Place, most of my couple's stay at the venue for three days. Arriving the afternoon before their big day and departing late morning on the Sunday. And that's exactly what Charlie and Charlotte did with their friends and family for their wedding.

Everyone knows that dance. The dance you do when you hear amazing news. For Charlie, it was a break up dance. Along with a little song.
She was - and always will be - his dream gal.
These two meet in university and Charlie was hopelessly smitten with the girl who was - of course - taken. But when he invited her to a party he'd discovered she'd recently broken up with her boyfriend, the rest as they say, is history.
Being able to document their wedding day was a true honour. These two have the most incredible group of friends and family. It was all smiles all day long. So much laughter and joy!

St. John The Baptist Church near Findon Place Wedding Venue
For couples looking for convenience and options for their ceremony, you can't get much better than this venue. From Findon Place's licenced outdoor ceremony location to their gorgeous ballroom and the church around the corner, couple's are spoilt with Findon Place.
And that could not have been a bigger blessing on Charlotte and Charlie's wedding day as there was a dress mishap that meant I had to set down my camera and pick up a needle and thread. Having photographed weddings for over a decade, I couldn't be more thankful for my mandatory home economics course from my tween years.
With St. John the The Baptist Church right next to Findon Place, we were able to make it the ceremony on time! Which is something I pride myself with as a photographer - I get my bride's to their weddings on time.
South Down Marquees Created the Perfect Outdoor Celebration
Following their wedding ceremony at St. John the Baptist Church, the couple walked back to Findon Place. Followed by all of their loved ones, we quickly jumped into doing family wedding photographs before it was due to rain again.
Thankfully the rain was never too heavy, and most of the day was sunshine. Perfect for their marquee wedding breakfast. The couple hired South Down Marquees, which looked absolutely stunning against the gorgeous ivy covering the rear of Findon Place.
The marquee was beautifully decorated by the very talented Bramble and Belle - who also did the floral arrangements for a previous couple at Findon Place.
I absolutely loved the way the florals framed the cake created by Holly Ann Cake Designs!

Discovering Findon Place Wedding Venue: A Hidden Gem for Unforgettable Weddings
I can remember the day a fellow supplier sent me a link to Findon Place, excitedly sharing this gorgeous new wedding venue opening in 2021. My heart did the biggest happy dance. It might have looked fairly similar to the one Charlie did the day he found out Charlotte was single. A venue this gorgeous 20 minutes from my house, yes please!!!
Since that day, I've been booked for nearly a dozen weddings at this venue and I do THE BIGGEST happy dance every time a new couple enquires. Because every wedding at Findon Place is magic. I'm convinced Findon Place wedding venue just brings out the best in everyone.
