This post is a special favourite as Findon Place had just opened up 20 minutes from my house.
Findon Place Wedding Photography
From this day, I've been one of the Findon Place's favourite recommended wedding photographers.
To help launch Findon Place, I was involved in their first styled shoot. I can't truly take credit for the beautiful photographs. These images are all thanks to a team of talented Sussex suppliers, who created something truly divine. But don't take my word for it! Have a look and see what I mean.
Findon Place in West Sussex
Findon Place in West Sussex was renovated in 2020 into an events and wedding venue. It is a Grade II* listed Georgian Estate venue. Though parts of the home date back to around 1200! So it might not be surprising that this home has had famous owners. A few famous owners of Findon Place are: Harold II, Thomas Cromwell and Formula 1 Driver, John Young.
The gorgeous gardens are brilliantly landscaped. However, what really makes this venue incredible is that there is a private pool and beautiful ceremony location. Because this wedding venue is often rented for the weekend, the pool and expansive grounds are a huge plus.
And inside the house you have everything imaginable - from a ballroom reception, great hall, bridal suite and guest rooms, to a drawing room and dedicated club bar. While each room has its own unique details, every space beautifully compliments the next.
The ballroom at Findon Place has capacity for up to 60 guests for a sit-down wedding breakfast. However, a marquee in the gardens is the perfect alternative for larger weddings.
At Findon Place, they cannot perform legal ceremonies. However, there is a gorgeous church, which is literally next door.

Findon Place is about 30 minutes outside of Brighton. As I’m just west of the city, this venue is almost at my doorstep!
