This engagement proposal at Hever Castle was perfection. I was so thankful to get approval for my couple to propose here with such short notice. And a proposal at Hever Castle was jus the backdrop Chris needed to make this moment magical.
Their first date was at a castle, and visiting castles around the UK had become their thing. And despite being fairly local, they'd never been to Hever Castle - and Chris new it was a gorgeous place that would be perfect for a proposal.

C&J met at work. Neither of them thought the whole "wedding" thing was for them, but somehow the birth of their gorgeous little boy changed all that. Chris wanted to be married. To give all to the woman who gave him all. He told me "I now have everything I could ever want". And to say he was well and truly grateful for the life he has, feels like an understatement.
Photographing this proposal was an absolute honour. Chris knew exactly where he wanted to propose from looking at photographs online, so he just had to set in motion his plan to get Jemma there!
And thankfully his son was awake for long enough to be a witness to the moment. Though saying that, he did fall asleep shortly after when we were taking photographs. Hence why their little boy only features in the first few pre wedding photographs at Hever Castle.
