If you’re looking for a dog photographer for a couple shoot, pick me! No, but seriously. Big or small, I love them all.

And I do mean big! This gorgeous boy is a Cane Corso named Robin. And just massive!

Sam and Warren wanted photographs with their boy, but were a little nervous how he would be around me. He’s still a puppy and really protective of his humans. But he loved the camera!

Just to be sure though, I arrived before them and kept my gear tucked away until he was comfortable around me. They also brought Warren’s brother to help wipe all the dribble from Robin’s face and praise him with treats.

And it worked brilliantly! Full disclosure, I wish toddlers were as easy to bribe as dogs. But much the same as with toddlers, we moved around a lot and went at Robin’s pace and let him take the lead.

I met Sam and Warren when I photographed their engagement proposal at Beachy Head. I’ve also had the honour of photographing their wedding at Southdowns Manor.

Sam and Warren always talk about their gorgeous boy Robin (he attended the wedding as a giant cardboard cutout), and so I was delighted when they enquired about a family session.

These two are wonderful humans and are raising Robin to be such a good boy. He’s the biggest softy I’ve ever met.

Robin was such a majestic Cane Corso to photograph. As a dog photographer in Sussex, I absolutely loved spending the evening with him and his humans. Slobber and all, he was such a character.

Apparently he normally hates the camera and walks off, but he did brilliantly at his photoshoot! And Sam and Warren were delighted with how the photographs turned out. They were a bit nervous how a black dog would photograph. But a professional camera and photographer know-how ensured they got beautiful family photographs.

Till next time,
