"We cannot put into words how incredibly blown away we were with the photographs we received... the service Kelsie provided surpassed what we wanted. We opted for a couple shoot... to get used to being in front of a camera and Kelsie helped to us to relax immediately. We also saw what a fun, energetic photographer she was...! Kelsie was everything we needed her to be, fun and interactive with our guests to get photographs but not too in their faces all the time. Kelsie also has an amazing knack at remembering names which our guests loved, and made them feel extra special being 'known by the photographer!' From helpful tips - to a brilliant plan of action on the wedding day... Kelsie is not only your wedding photographer, she's like a best friend holding your hand through it all! Thank you SO much Kelsie, I wish we could do it all over again and again... We had so much fun with you, and cannot stop looking at the photographs - they capture the essence and energy of the day and everyone who was there to enjoy it with us."

– Lauren Ashley

"Kelsie did a fantastic job shooting our wedding. She was so helpful from the very start, even when we were trying to figure out where to have our wedding after a few covid-related cancellations, she was a wealth of knowledge! She was professional throughout and had our gallery much earlier than we expected. On the day she fit right in with our families and did a great job directing all of us and making us feel comfortable while still staying 'in the background'. The photos turned out amazing and some of our friends have even commented 'these are the best wedding photos I've ever seen, hands down'. 100% would recommend! Thank you Kelsie!

– Kristian Clausen

"Kelsie photographed our wedding photos and we are absolutely blown away with them. Kelsie is amazing at making you and your guests feel comfortable and really captured the whole day. She really listened to our ideas and created the natural family shots we asked for. She was also amazing at remembering names and building relationships with the children to get those shots showing their cheeky personalities. Thank you kelsie! We will forever relive our day through the photos!"

– Zoe Bolan

"Kelsie was our wedding photographer and without a doubt the best we could have wished for. Kelsie made things flow so well and made us feel comfortable during our day. Photos and moments were captured that we will forever be blessed with and have her to thank for this."

– Vicki hart

"Kelsie truly has a way of putting you at ease to capture the perfect candid shots. On our wedding day, she also offered unending support and guidance making her an irreplaceable part of our day. She is quite the wedding aficionado!"

– Kayla Stout

"I’m so glad we had you as our photographer – I’ve had nothing but compliments from everyone about how lovely our photographer was and we’d agree! Our day was beyond anything we could have hoped for."

– Aaron Haines

"I’ve gone back to look at them time and time again since we got them and each time I’ve looked, I’ve loved them even more. The way you seamlessly became an integral and sometimes invisible part of our day, yet still managed to gather such wonderful moments, is a testament to your skills. The photos are superb, and have filled our families with so much joy."

Getting ready Wedding photos at Buxted Park Hotel

Buxted Park Hotel wedding venue has several gorgeous locations to get ready.

Many of my brides get ready in the Churchill suite, which is by far my favourite. The light filters in so beautifully from this side of the house and always makes for incredible wedding photographs. I’ve had brides literally glow in their veils – and the beautiful organza or tulle of their dress just lights up in the most incredible ways! And when Grooms get ready in one of the other suites, such as the George V suite, it becomes incredibly easy for me to document coverage of both mornings if my couples do not opt for a second photographer.

But the bridal suite and snooker room are great alternatives if availability is limited. Some of my couples have also started in these locations, and then moved to the larger suites. Or just opted to stay in these rooms for ease. I’ve even had a groom put on his finishing touches in the conservatory and the photos looked brilliant.

Buxted Park Hotel Wedding Ceremony Photos

With Buxted Park Hotel, couples have so many beautiful choices for their ceremony.

For outdoor ceremony locations, the most popular is the Coat of Arms lawns. Couples can either have their ceremony facing towards the house and stand on the gorgeous steps or face towards nature. But couples can also get married by the pond or I’m pretty sure anywhere that takes their fancy if doing exclusive hire. Rules and regulations around ceremony locations have lifted since 2020, and this has opened up your choices.

As for Indoor ceremony locations, the most common locations are the Coat of Arms or the conservatory. Both are beautiful and perfect for a rainy day alternative.

Wedding Breakfast  photos

While I’m itching for an open air or marquee wedding on the lawns,  most of my couples celebrate the rest of their night away in the Ballroom. This is a beautiful space that is easily transformed with a few simple window drapes and personal touches. For the wedding breakfast, the photographs are always stunning.

But the conservatory is also a firm favourite for the wedding breakfast with a smaller guest count. With a few floral details on the beams above and the gorgeous light that filters through, the wedding photographs are truly stunning.

And as for the reception, the ballroom is always a brilliant space with bar nearby.

Recommended Buxted Park Hotel Wedding Photographer

With over a decade of wedding photography experience, I will take what is going to be your favourite picture of you and your partner, mum and best friend. I know light and the way it reflects onto your face and the space around you – cultivating the rays so every feature on your face glows.  I know how to photograph each individual’s best angles, ensuring you can enjoy your day oblivious to me angling myself for the best position. I keep things natural – even during portraits – and focus on creating laughter and joy between loved ones to ensure every moment of your wedding day is incredible. I’m a fun and cheerful person, and I have always been able to crack even the most anti-photo usher into the biggest laugh. My years of experience not only enabled me to elicit, predict and capture spontaneous emotions you’ll treasure forever but I also know the technical aspects of beautiful portraits having been an associate for a prominent photographer in my teenage years.

So if your sister doesn’t know what to do with her hands, your mother-in-law is worried about a double chin or you’re not sure if your hair looks okay or if you’re holding the bouquet right, I can demonstrate quick modifications and direction to ensure everyone can get back to cocktail hour and mingling with friends.

You deserve it all, and my goal is to deliver on that promise.
