There are so many hidden gems dotted around, and this Anchor Inn wedding venue is one of my new favourites. It was the perfect back drop for Mary and Sean’s festival wedding. Though the day was one of the biggest downpours we had seen in the long time, the Anchor Inn staff were able to keep Mary and Sean’s spirits high. They were all smiles the entire day and their guests often ventured out into the rain with carefree joy.
Glamping Anchor Inn Wedding
Travelling down from London, Mary and Sean wanted to give their guests the ultimate glamping experience. Their Anchor Inn wedding was a weekend long event, with lots of fun outdoor activities for their guests. Though the rain washed out much of those plans for the wedding day, I heard the Sunday more than made up for it. The guests were even able to paddle around in the Anchor Inn’s stunning little blue boats.
Though the rain was pretty relentless, as I was driving back through the windy roads, I saw the smoke billowing from their giant bonfire. I don’t know how much alcohol a determined guest must have thrown on the wood, but it made for a beautiful ending for their day.
Till next time,
