Family is everything. For Charlotte, her Zinnia Gardens wedding was marked not only by the celebration of her love for Stephen and the coming together of their two families, but also by her brother’s absence.
Harry was a central part of the wedding, with subtle nods to his memory carefully interwoven into the events of the day. From Harry’s own table with booze and cigars, to a shot of his favourite drink next to each guest’s place card, I was both inspired and heartbroken at the attention Charlotte paid to ensure her brother was there to help them celebrate. Finding personal and alternative ways to remember loved ones at your wedding is never easy, but I’m sure Charlotte did her brother proud.
Marquee Zinnia Gardens wedding in Surrey
Stephen and Charlotte said their vows in front of family and friends at St. Marks Church in Croydon before heading to her parent’s Zinnia Gardens wedding venue. It was an emotional and beautiful wedding in which it was undeniably clear that a family bond knows no limits.
It was an honour to photograph this day with a fellow Brighton wedding photographer, Alline Beatrici. Keep scrolling to take a peek at a few highlights.
