I loved being Victoria and Harley’s Newhaven engagement photographer ahead of their wedding at Lewes Castle.
When my wedding couples book me for engagement photographs, and we are more than a year out from the big I do’s, I always suggest we do them on their wedding date. It’s a great way to set aside such a special day and celebrate what’s to come. It was such an honour to document Victoria and Harley’s special day during their “mini-thirty” engagement session.
Newhaven Engagement Photographer
If you haven’t guessed already, I have one rule for engagement photography: the pre-wedding session should be special. Victoria and Harley took that to heart when they asked me to meet them at their home exactly one year prior on the date of their wedding. Their home in Newhaven backs onto the South Downs, and they often spend their evenings taking in the views. It’s a wonderful and quiet time in which they get to unwind from their day and enjoy some quality time together.
For their engagement photography, we shared a load of laughs, jokes, and memories. They were thrilled with all the photographs we were able to capture in their thirty-minute pre-wedding session.
It was a pleasure to be Victoria + Harley’s Newhaven engagement photographer and I cannot wait till this time next year whenI am editing away on their wedding photographs.
